The maker's market is a community event where students sell homemade items and learn the basics of running a business!

Thank you to everyone who participated in Country Club's very first Maker’s Market in Spring 2025! The event was a huge success and we appreciate all the support in making this event happen and supporting our fabulous student makers!

For the 2025-26 school year, the Maker's Market will take place on December 5th, 2025, instead of in the Spring, just in time for the Winter gift-giving season! Makers: start getting your ideas ready and please read the FAQs below.

Applications are now open and the last day to submit an application is on November 21st.

Can't be a maker? Everyone is welcome to join us at the event to purchase goods and support fellow Country Club Makers!

Please read the FAQs below before submitting your application.

Maker's Market FAQs

How do I become a Maker?

Sign up to be a maker by filling out an application here. An adult is required to be present at your booth to help sell items and count change. Your adult does not have to be cleared through the volunteer system.

What is the deadline to turn in applications?

The deadline to turn in applications is November 21, 2025

Does it cost to participate as a Maker?

No, it is free to be a Maker and sell your items. The only costs will be the individual costs you take on to make your items.

Do I get to keep the money I make?

Absolutely, it’s your business!

Is there a limit to the price of items?

We ask that charge between 25¢ and no more than $5.00 per item. We suggest selling in increments of 25¢ to make handling change easier.

Do I need to bring my own change?

Yes, because customers will be purchasing your item at your individual booth, each booth is responsible for having change on hand. Depending on the cost of each item to sell, you may want quarters, $1 bills, $5 bills, and $10 bills and $20.

How will the booth be set up?

Please provide a 4-6 ft table for your booth. Each booth (table) should have:

Business Name displayed on a sign

Prices of items that you are selling displayed on a sign

Displayed Business License (which you will receive after your application is accepted)

Optional: Any additional displays or decorations

Can I make and sell food?

Yes! You can make any nonperishable, shelf-stable food, individually packaged before the event and clearly labeled with the ingredients. Due to food safety protocols, nothing that needs to be kept hot or cold can be sold. Some examples of foods that would fit this description include:
Rice Krispie Treats
Cookies
Breads
Muffins
Cake Pops
Biscuits
Scones
Marshmallows
Fudge
Popcorn Balls
Caramels
Candied Apples

Is there anything I cannot make?

Yes. Please do not make any weapons, controversial or offensive items. Keep items age-appropriate.

Can multiple students be Makers and sell in the same booth?

Yes, multiple Makers can be part of one business.

Who can attend the Maker's Market?

We invite the entire Country Club Community to come in support of our Country Club Makers! It is free to attend the event and see the creative ingenuity on display, however, if you would like to purchase any of the goods, you will need to bring cash (small bills appreciated). No items over $5 will be sold. This is not a fundraiser. Any items sold go directly to the student maker.
